Each recorded performance counts as one artist set, including shared bills. Unique artists count each artist once within the selected period; a shared billing credits its individual artists without adding the combined label as another unique artist. A bandleader and their band count as one artist; the leader receives solo credit only when listed alone. Artist rankings retain the full billing and individual appearance tallies, so their totals can exceed the number of sets. Rankings sort by sets, then most recently seen. Minor venue, city, and performance-type spelling variants are grouped for analytics; the full list preserves the source wording.
