In “Finding Lucinda” we learn where her pedigree for great writing comes

We talk to @ismaymusic (Avery Hellman) who directed and starred in a documentary film called “Finding Lucinda” in which they searched for more understanding of songwriter Lucinda Williams’s life and music. The discoveries led to a new way of songwriting for Ismay’s new album coming in June.

We talked about the movie, their music, songwriting, poetry and a lot more. They told us that understanding Lucinda’s poet father and upbringing around great writers revealed so much about her craft.
